Mondays:1pm-4pm and 5pm-8 pm followed by dinner.
Courses will be held at the restaurant “La Maison sur le Place” or at “Carlane” depending on the number of participants.

Weekly courses
Every workshop takes place at the restaurant “La Maison sur la place” around one theme.
Cooking of Duck in all its variations, in the traditional way of the “Southwest of France” including other more original styles.
Experiment the subtleties of cooking with honey in all its shades of amber.
On special request we are able to introduce you to the imaginative as well as savoury cooking for diabetics.
Arrival in Bordeaux on Sunday; where a taxi will be waiting for you and drive you to “Penne d’Agenais” (approx. 2 hours).
You will stay at “Carlane”- former 17th century Carthusian Monastery- now a guest house.
It’s terraces overlook gardens-only 3 min walk to the village center of “Penne d’Agenais”.
Starting Monday the daily 3 hrs cooking course will be given by Geneviève Cazottes, owner of the restaurant “ la Maison sur la Place”, seconded by another teacher, depending on the speciality proposed.
You will spend one afternoon discovering and learning about the “art de table” in the spirit of “ La Maison sur la Place” and perfected by Geneviève.
Meals (following the lessons) will be taken at “Carlane” where you will savour your cooking.
All other meals will be served at the restaurant “La Maison sur la Place” where you can leisurely browse a culinary library.
We also propose the discovery of your picturesque medieval village and its surroundings.
You may have your first insights into the art of ancient paper making- snail farming- bee keeping.
And a visit to the traditional farmers’ market in “Villeneuve sur Lot” a “Bastide”
( a mediaeval fortified town) is a “must”.
Departure is Sunday and a taxi will bring you back to Bordeaux, your head with memories and those precious recipes.
